Discover a new and brilliant world through macro photography with Landscape Photographer Lloyd Howlett.

In this Photographic workshop you will be  spending  a day with Lloyd Howlett throughout the beautiful  Royal Botanical Gardens of Melbourne. Discovering the small world of Macro Photography, you will never look at a flower a bit of moss ever the same again. You will get a greater understanding of macro photography,  lighting techniques and depth of field throughout this workshop. Commencing at 10am June 8th concluding around 4pm.

What You will need:

DSLR, Tripod, Macro lens, electronic cable release or remote control, Flash, laptop, warm clothing / waterproofs,   (Macro Rail if you have one) a good pair of walking boots or shoes and water bottle.

Learn how to get the most out of your DSLR with Landscape Photographer Lloyd Howlett.

In this photographic workshop you will be spending  a day with Lloyd Howlett throughout the beautiful Streets and gardens of Melbourne. Commencing at 6.30am (sharp) you will discover the versatility of  your camera, basic rules of photography, how the position of the sun affects your landscape photograph. What makes a photo work and why.

What You will need:

DSLR, Tripod, standard lens, wide angle lens, electronic cable release or remote control, Flash, warm clothing / waterproofs if applicable. Good pair of walking boots and water bottle.

Snow Photography workshop with your DSLR / August 17th 2013

Learn how to use your DSLR in the snow with Landscape Photographer Lloyd Howlett.

(Subject to weather conditions a 100% refund policy applies)

In this photographic workshop you will be spending  a day with Lloyd Howlett throughout the beautiful alpine region of Falls Creek. Meeting Lloyd Howlett at Windy Corner Falls Creek, Alpine Resort ( 5 Hours drive from Melbourne).

You will be experiencing the spectacular  beauty of  of Falls Creek and the surrounding country side, how to get the right exposure and show the full detail of the snow. We will be spending most of the day 10am-5pm in the elements ( subject to weather conditions) with the aim of capturing the light in all its varied aspects with the back ground of Rocky Valley Dam

What You will need:

DSLR, Tripod, wide angle lens, standard lens and telephoto ( Ideally 17-24mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8 ), electronic cable release or remote control,  warm clothing /waterproofs . Good walking boots and a water bottle, a good degree of personal fitness and endurance.

(Falls Creek gate entry and snow shoe/cross country skis hire is not included)
