Kalarrange Lookout In the Finke Gorge National park near Palm Valley
Kalarrange Lookout, (Finke Gorge National Park) Palm Valley Northern Territory in the middle of the Australian Outback. After a day of walking through Palm Valley I decided to head up to Kalarrange Lookout to capture the sunset on the horizon and Three Golden rocks. I was not disappointed. When you visit allow all day at Palm Valey and stay in the camping area near buy (a small camping fee is charged) which hosts good toilets and a shower (not working when I was There).
My ideal time of year to visit is June to August, just be mindful about rain, as the Finke River can rise quickly leaving you stranded for a while. I would recommend a high clearance 4wd with good tyres for you visit.
